additional folder after restarting WHS2011

Post by Tomasek » Sat Mar 03, 2018 7:02 pm

i have mounted some ISO-files into a single folder. After each restart of WHS it creates a new subfolder and mounts the iso-file once again, so after some reboots i have the folders name.iso .. name.iso (1) ... name.iso (2) ... and so on. Any idea how to avoid that?

thx Rob

Hi Rob,

That would be a bug for sure. ISO Mounter will unmount all iso files on shutdown and re-mount them on startup; but you should never see duplicate mount points as you mention. I just tested here on a few different skus of WHS and have not seen the issue yet.

Can you provide a few more details for me?

1. What version of WHS are you running?
2. What version of ISO Mounter are you running?
3. Does the duplicate mount point always occur after a reboot or does it appear random?
4. Does the duplicate mount point occur on all of the iso mounter mount points or only the ones you have mounted into a single (relocation) folder?

Thanks,
Sarah
